Open Auditions for Cookeville Children's Theater

Cookeville Children’s Theatre announces open auditions for the musical It’s A Wonderful Life on August 18th and 19th at the Church of the Nazarene, located on the Old Kentucky Road.

Fourth Graders should come on Thursday, August 18th from 6-7pm, 5th- 8th Graders on Thursday, August 18th from 7-8:30pm. No preparation is necessary for grades 4th-8th.

Ninth- 12th Graders should come on Friday, August 19th from 6-9pm and prepare one 16 bar cut of your favorite musical theatre song. Please bring sheet music with you. An accompanist will be provided.
All who are auditioning should bring a current wallet sized photo and wear tennis shoes. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a wallet sized photo.

Many teen singers and dancers are needed for principal, featured, and ensemble roles, and teen boys are especially encouraged to audition. Many leading and supporting roles also available for young boys and girls. No previous experience is required.
