St. Thomas Aquinas Enjoys Fall Festival

By Cookeville Times

St. Thomas Aquinas enjoyed their annual Fall Festival Friday afternoon and Saturday. Not to be confused with Cookeville’s Annual Fall Funfest, the church has been having their event even back in the days when the Cookeville Funfest was still being held at Sherlock Park on Tennessee Tech’s campus.

The attendees enjoyed lots of food, entertainment, craft booths, a silent auction, games for the young, a bake sale, a petting zoo, and pony rides!  Friday night they featured a chili supper with the River Boys performing a concert, and Saturday showcased concerts by Hot Club Time, Machine, Ivan Lafever, Don Prince, and TenShades.  Foods included, hot dogs, hamburgers, kabobs, egg rolls, pizza, polish sausage, pierogi dumplings, cabbage rolls, tacos, cheese quesadillas, and tamales. (yum).
