TBI Clears Officer Melton Of Misconduct
District Attorney Tony Craighead announced today that the TBI investigation is over and their findings clear Officer Melton of any wrong doing or misconduct. According to Craighead, the TBI will be providing a formal letter in a few weeks officially closing the investigation. Craighead points out in his announcement that Officer Melton not only passed a polygraph test, but that the defendant Carlos Ferrell admitted the marijuana was his.
