Strong winds of liberty are once again blowing across the nation as Tea Parties have begun springing up throughout the land.

According to the Cookeville Police Department, an estimated 800 people attended this particular Tea Party in Cookeville, Tennessee over a period of two hours.

Ronda Rader addressed the audience, speaking of taxes with the complaint that people who had to work to pay them were lead by people in Washington who paid no taxes.

Retired Army Colonel, Ron Cyrus, described the need for Americans to be heard and not ignored by their leadership, contending that the men and women of all branches of the armed services are patriots.

As tea parties were held throughout the nation, the Cookeville Tea Party was designated as bi-partisan and a variety of political orientations were represented at the rally.

The Putnam County Square was noisy with passers-by, honking in support of the effort.
