General Dave Evans (Ret.) Speaks At Tennessee Tech In Cookeville

Recently, General Dave Evans, a Republican contender against Bart Gordon for upcoming elections for Tennessee’s 6th Congressional District, spoke at Tennessee Tech University.

Evans said that when he retired from the military, he’d planned on settling down into retirement by working with a company called, Journey, Retirement Planning.

But due to the economic climate and prevailing political forces at a national level, he chose to once again go into full time service for his country-- but this time at the political level.

Evans focused on points for personal rights, a strong military, and a confident U.S. presence in the world.
