Cumberland Mountain Canine Club on the March
The Cumberland Mountain Canine Club meets regularly in Monterey Tennessee--usually on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.
Dogs, and their humans, come together twice a month to learn about obedience, canine good citizen, and now new to the club is something called "rally obedience." This is a type of obedience training where the owner pays attention to signs placed on the ground, and react accordingly and make their way through the course as quickly as possible. Today the Cumberland mountain canine club members are learning their way through some new commands like "Spiraling outside" and "down." It's a very fun way to practice obedience with a lot of praise, touches. The purpose of the Cumberland Mountain Canine Club is to provide education awareness for owners to understand how their dog thinks, how their dog learns, and how to have a healthier, happier, more fulfilling relationship.
