Moving into a new decade seems a good time to move on, wipe the slate clean and enjoy a year free of a few encumbrances. Here are our top nominees...


1. Our obsession with Jon and Kate and their eight

2. The sex lives of Tiger Woods, Sen. John Ensign and others....

3. Michael Jackson's debt (though we liked his movie...we want to remember his music... and let the rest, rest.)

4. The lawsuit against the Election Commission

5. The word "Transparency" --- a sure indication that someone's hiding something

6. The amount of money we're spending on the banks. Truly depressing.

7. Leggings and wool hats, etc. in the heat of summer. It just makes us hot to see them.

8. Short shorts and no leggings in the cold of winter. That's just weird.

9. Facebook posts about the cereal someone ate this morning...or their nap...or...you get the idea.

10. Brittany Spears "1-2-3" or.... yeah. Brittany.
