Game Show Night Coming April 30... Mark Your Calendar

"Come on down!” for a night of fun and games at the 2nd Annual Game Show Mania on April 30th hosted by the Leslie Town Centre!

The community is gearing up for this splendid night of live entertainment as audience contestants play TV games with local celebrities and win prizes donated by area businesses.

All proceeds go to benefit the Together We Care 501C3 nonprofit organizations who are patrons of the Leslie Town Centre. 

The doors open at 5:30pm as guests are greeted with the live music of Legacy Classic Rock. A free pizza bar, donated by Coca-Cola and Papa John’s Pizza, will be available from 5:30-6:30pm and other snacks will be sold throughout the event.
 
The program begins at 6pm as John Story emcees and welcomes audience contestants to play games and win prizes. Vanna White (aka Toni Evans) will assist with prizes. The wardrobes the host and hostess will be provided by Beauty Queens Boutique - Merle Norman.
 
Featured entertainment for the event include the DJs of B-Rock 93.7 and Kicks 106.9 radio, the magic of Jason Michaels, the TV personalities of WCTE, and the DJ’s of Cookeville Communications.
 
Added to the line-up of talent is the mystery celebrity group “Simply Irresistible” which will be a surprise to everyone.
 
“This year, the event has started with a bang as local talents & businesses jumped at the idea of participating in this fun community event that benefits our Together We Care patrons!
 
Our first prizes are coming in with last year’s donors giving again this year! Oreck has donated their Oreck vacuum cleaner; Pacesetters, Inc. has donated a Golf Foursome at their annual benefit tournament on May 8th, and The Technology Store has donated an installed satellite radio.
 
These are great prizes and many more are to follow as area merchants donate items for contestants to win at Game Show Mania,” said Debi Smith, special events director of the Leslie Town Centre. “With the prizes and the entertainment, everyone will have a great time at Game Show Mania and many will go home with super gifts. Vital Signs is co-sponsoring the event with banners and event signage and Roland Advertising has donated several “Day on the Digital” prizes. Merchants who would like to participate may call 931.372.7200 for more information or email MyEvent@LeslieTownCentre.com.
 
Tickets are $10 in advance/$15 at the door and free Coca-Cola & Papa John’s Pizza are included. Age 5 and under are free. Seating is limited. Tickets go on sale on April 1st and may be purchased at the Leslie Town Centre or by calling 931.372.7200 or email MyEvent@LeslieTownCentre.com..   
 
Co-owned by the City of Cookeville and Putnam County, the Leslie Town Centre is supported solely by the revenues from the two venues in the building: Estes Williams Business Center and the Herald–Citizen Conference Room.
 
The building houses the offices of the Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce, Economic and Community Development and the Convention and Visitors Bureau. The Public Building Authority governs the Leslie Town Centre for the benefit of our community and proudly offers the Together We Care program.
