Local disc jockey, DJ Sticky Boots, of WKXD-FM / Kicks 106.9 has been included in the nominations by the staff of DJ Times.  Other DJs listed include DJ AM, Funk Master Flex, Grandmaster Flash, Moby and Bad Boy Bill.

Now entering its third year, the America's Best DJ competition fosters the growth of US DJ & Nightlife culture by encouraging music fans to support their favorite American DJs in a quest to crown the USA's top disc jockey.

The America's Best DJ competition runs from May 1st through Labor Day 2008 online at AmericasBestDJ.  Voting is open to any U.S. residents. Voters who are 18 and older are automatically entered to win a variety of prizes, including free music downloads, Sirius Satellite Radio receivers and two grand prize all-expense paid trips to Las Vegas.  Prizes are provided by Pioneer Pro DJ, Beatport, Sirius Satellite Radio and DJ Times Magazine.
