Cookeville Community Band Continues Its Concert Series In Dogwood Park

The Cookeville Community band played again at Dogwood Park on Monday night. This was part of an on going 6 concert series that the band plays at Dogwood Park. The concerts are free and open to the public. The band plays every other Monday night at 7:30 at the park. They are scheduled to play 3 more concerts in this summer schedule.

The concert started with the concert conductor Brian Amaral, who is the White County Middle School band director, leading those in attendance in a patriotic song. The band then played a new song "Critical Mass"by Todd Stalter.

the band also played the piece "Seconds Please" by Tennessee Technological Universities own Greg Danner.  The concert ended with a piece from the new movie "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Strange Tides"

The next concert will be held on Monday July 11th at 7:30pm.
