Wednesday marked the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Closet, featuring upscale, gently used clothing. Attending the event were Cookeville City officials, and the Cookeville, Putnam County Chamber of Commerce.

Proprietor Joann Marx stated that she wanted to move close to her children and grandchildren, and wanted to teach them the importance of recycling.

The Closet is located just off the Cookeville Square at 420 East Broad Street.
