What To Wear When You Have Big Arms

When you have big arms it is a challenge on what to wear.

It’s so difficult when every time you walk into a department store you are faced with racks of tops and dresses with no sleeves and these in turn are the ones photographed for all the magazines.

I know some women who have told me that their arms could feed a family of six and find that the lack of sleeves in clothing is depressing.

What are women to do for an evening outfit if the arms need covering?

If we had sleeves in our clothing the frustration of jiggling flesh would cease to exist.

I want to give a few suggestions that I believe you will find very helpful when you go to shop.

T-shirts are an issue, the worst t-shirt you could wear is one with cap sleeves or one that is sleeveless, and an alternative would be the three-quarter length sleeves.

This t-shirt will hide the flab at the top and display delicate wrists or a long sleeve t-shirt.

The long sleeves obviously hide the arms, just make sure that the sleeves aren’t too tight and resemble vacuumed packed hotdogs.

The best blouse is one that has floating cuffs; cuffs in a flimsy fabric add a certain delicacy to beefy arms while hiding the heftier truth.

Also a puff at the shoulder seam gives the impression of something altogether more elegant being inside the sleeve.

A puff sleeve blouse and a halter neck are definitely out, no large bangle bracelet, only a small delicate one.

Be ruthless --- chuck out the clothes that don’t suit you and treat yourself to some new ones that do!!
