In spite of cold temps, spirits flagged high throughout the TSSAA tournemant according to Tennessee Technological Vice President, Mark Hutchins.

He also indicated that the snow had been no problem on the field, and he said that generally the crowds had seemed to be very pleased with the accomodations and hospitality.

One student volunteer, Jan Kathryn, described how her team had cleaned the stands until 1:10 A.M. Saturday morning, and as they finished, the snow was coming down on them.

Bernard Childress, Executive Director of the TSSAA said that he felt Cookeville had been very accomodating and joked that he might not go home, but just wait around until the 2010 playoffs.
