Surviving the Storm Presented Thursday

Meteorologists from Channel 4, WSMV in Nashville, will present "Surviving the Storm" at 7 p.m. Thursday in Derryberry Auditorium. Doors open at 6 p.m.

The entertaining event presents information about severe weather, how to prepare for it, and how to stay safe during severe thunderstorms. The multimedia show includes videos, pictures, experiments and door prizes.

The event is free and open to the public.
