Watertown To Host Mile Long Yard Sale Saturday

Historic Watertown, TN will host hundreds of visitors along their annual two-mile-long, Main Street and Public Square yard sale on Saturday, April 19th.

Five hundred visitors are expected to arrive by rail on The Tennessee Central Railway Museum Excursion Train that will originate in Nashville.

The train will include a baggage car for shoppers who purchase large items.

Many others will travel I-40 to the Watertown Exit and then enjoy the 10 miles of independent yard sales set-up by residents along the ten-mile journey to the Watertown Square.

Upon arrival, the visitors will enjoy wonderful art, eats, antiques and specialty shops.

Watertown businesses located around the 101 year-old historic square that will be participating include Jim's Antiques, Lew's Creation Station, Gallery of the Mad House Wife, Faye's Watertown Beauty Salon, Jewelry and Antiques, Granny's Crafts and Things, Town Square Antiques, Nona Lisa's Antiques and Accessories and LuLu's Coffee House.

Other Watertown supporters and participants include Watertown Bed and Breakfast, The Guess What Shop, B&J's Specialties, Cedar Forest Log Homes and Falsom Farms.

The I-40 Watertown Exit will put the traveler on Hwy. 70---then travel 10 miles, stopping at yard sales lining the road, until you reach Watertown's Main Street and historic square.
