Pinnacle Financial Partners recently contributed $2,500 to the Tennessee FFA (Future Farmers of America) Foundation, Inc. to help support agricultural education and youth development across the state.

“Pinnacle is proud to contribute to the Tennessee FFA Foundation because it is a cause our associates care deeply about,” said Scott McCormick, Pinnacle’s area executive for Wilson County. “Agricultural education is crucial to Tennessee’s economy.”

McCormick joined Joe Comer, a financial consultant at Pinnacle Asset Management in Mt. Juliet and registered principal with Raymond James Financial Services, in making the check presentation to state FFA President Emily Buck and Foundation Chairman John Rose.

Comer has a long history of involvement with FFA. He joined the organization in high school and served as a state president from 1983-1984. He has been involved with the Tennessee FFA Foundation since it began in 1984 and has served as its investment advisor for more than 10 years.

According to Rose, the contribution by Pinnacle will provide general support of the FFA by enhancing ongoing scholarships and awards endowed by the Foundation. “We deeply appreciate the vision that Pinnacle is demonstrating by investing in our state’s youth. These funds enable young people to develop their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.”

The professionals at Pinnacle Financial Partners provide a full range of banking, investment, mortgage and insurance products and services designed for small- to mid-sized businesses and their owners, real estate professionals and individuals interested in a comprehensive relationship with their financial institution. Pinnacle is the second-largest bank holding company headquartered in Tennessee, with 32 offices in eight Middle Tennessee counties and three in Knoxville.
