Random Act of Kindness by Local Businessman

When someone does a random act of kindness for you and makes a business based on doing the right thing because it’s the right thing to do, you want to share it.    This business was a blessing to us at a critical time and we want to thank them, while making others aware as well.

With a new baby and a bad economy, we badly needed our car to be fixed, but were pretty sure we couldn’t afford it.    Ronnie Miller of Integrity Auto Services said that he could help.   His business is new and he says that he named it “Integrity” because he had seen so many people rip people off or fix something different than what the vehicle was brought in for and then charge the customer for it.

Mr. Miller has been doing auto mechanics since 1976.  He does engine work, electronics and diagnostics – everything except the rebuilding of transmissions.  His shop is ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certified and he’s certified in brakes, advanced engine diagnostics, air conditions, suspension, and electrical systems.

He not only fixed our car, but he did his mechanic work for free.   That’s right – no charge.  His random act of generosity came at a critical time for us.  He became one of our heroes that day.

While he isn’t able to give all customers that kind of break, he says that he is really committed to doing a valued job for an amount that doesn’t break the bank.    As a Christian owner, he says that he works for the Lord more than for the money and that the value of the customer is priority 1.    He keeps his rates low with low overhead and treats vehicles he’s fixing “like his own parents will be driving.”  And he says he likes his parents a lot.

We wanted to say thank you to Ronnie Miller of Integrity Auto Services.   He did us a good turn --- and we’re hoping that sharing the story will do him one as well.
