First shift
Activity from Wednesday was twenty CAD entries and only three reports. Officer J. Long responded to S.Willow Ave and made an arrest on a warrant.
Officer Stout took a harassment report on S.Jefferson Ave. Officer Loftis took a supplement theft report at Cookeville Police Dept. the theft was from Shanks Ave.
Second shift
2nd Shift Officers answered 33 calls for service according to CAD. Officers made 2 arrests, 1 non-custodial arrest, and took 4 reports. Ofc. B. Long took a burglary report on E. 10th St., where someone had kicked in the rear door and took approx. $525 worth of rolled coins. A suspect was named and CID was notified. Ofc. J. Ward took a burglary report on Church St. where someone entered the residence through a kitchen window and stole ten 12 oz. Busch beers. A suspect was named and CID was notified. Ofc. Harrington worked an armed robbery on Scenic Drive. Adult/male went to the residence and robed the resident at gunpoint of 117 Percocets. He told the resident he was with the 13th Judicial Drug Task Force and left behind a Jackson County warrant that had his name whited out and another name written over the top of it. He left in a gray Honda. CID was notified and responded.
Third shift
Third Shift officers responded to 18 CAD entries: 2 incident reports and 1 citation in lieu of continued custody. Officer deClaire responded to W. 13th Street regarding a vehicle burglary. The victim said his car was in the tenant parking lot and was not locked. Someone stole a $400.00 Ibanez guitar, $300.00 Boss processor, $200.00 Line 6 processor, and his debit card.
Officer Blankenship checked on a car at T-Mart. He cited a female passenger for possession of drug paraphernalia after she gave him a hypodermic needle she had hidden in her pants. Officer Springs worked a verbal domestic on Oxford Place.
