I have had some technical problems so here are the Thursday and Friday shift summaries. Becuase I am doing the summaries today Monday will be a regular Crime Report with the pictures.

Thursday first shift

Thursday we had 25 CAD entries and six reports Officer Green took a theft of motor vehicle report at 410 N.Washington Ave. At the Penske truck parking beside above address on Washington and 4th. St. someone took a 2008 GMC Penske rental truck. Officer Green took a vandalism report at Chaffin and Chaffin Office where someone had stuck took picks in door locks. This is near where truck was taken. Officer Langford made an arrest assisted by Officer J. Long at the Probation and Parole Office 442 Neal St..

Second shift

The shift was fairly quiet.  CAD listed 49 events.  Officers made one arrest, filed four incident reports and two crash reports.  There were no remarkable events to list.

Third shift

We had around 25 entries in cad which resulted in two arrests, one harassment, and one vandalism report. Officer Collier responded to the T- Mart at 12th and Willow to investigate a suspicious vehicle. He discovered adult/male passed out at the wheel of a pickup parked at the pumps. The vehicle was still in drive but luckily his foot was on the brake. He was arrested for DUI. Officer deClaire took a report of harassment on Lovelady Road. Officer deClaire also took a report of vandalism on N. Willow after a man busted a window at that location. He apparently got into an argument with someone at the private party. The man was taken to the hospital and later flown out because of the cuts he got from the incident. The investigation continues. Officer Collier arrested adult/male for joyriding after he took his mothers vehicle from her residence on Sycamore. According to the complainant she is missing cash and a billfold from her residence also. The cash and billfold were not found when Collier recovered the vehicle on Ridgedale drive.

Friday first shift

Except for vehicle traffic Friday was average with little to report. The only noteworthy incident was an arrest by Officer J. Long at Star-Motor Inn of an adult/male after he and his girlfriend were involved in an argument and he decided to head-butt her.  He was arrested for domestic assault and she was taken to C.R.M.C.

second shift

The shift was unevenly busy.  CAD listed 33 events.  Officers made four arrests, filed five incident reports and one crash report.  The most noteworthy events of the shift are as follows. Ofc Moore filed a report after adult/male came to the station to report that someone used his identity to rent a laptop computer from Aaron’s on S. Willow.  Ofc Moore’s investigation revealed that the offender was his father.  Ofc Moore contacted the father, who was out of town at the time.  The father said that he will return the computer when he returned to Cookeville. Ofc B Long filed a report and made a custodial arrest after investigating a disturbance at a residence on Brown Avenue.  A woman was confronting her boyfriend over him touching her 12-year-old daughter inappropriately at that residence a couple of weeks ago.  The sheriff held a capias on the boyfriend and he was taken into custody for that.  Ofc Long filed an incident report on the sexual battery of the juvenile.

Third shift

Third Shift officers responded to 22 CAD entries generating 1 incident report and 1 adult custodial arrest.  Officer Springs responded to  Rice Circle and filed a verbal domestic report. Officer deClaire checked a man stumbling in the Delta Express parking lot. He arrested him for public intoxication.
