Haunted Half Marathon back for a second year

Cookeville…Haunted Half Marathon (13.1 miles) is back for a second year to support the Cookeville Regional Medical Center Foundation.  The race is sponsored by Tennessee Heart, Gaw Bernhardt & Associates – First Realty Company, Save=A-Lot Food Stores, First National Bank, Chick-fil-a, Hooper, Huddleston & Horner among others.

The race is scheduled for Saturday, October 23, 2010, 7:00 AM with Tennessee Tech University as the starting and finish line.  Race entry fees are $40.00 until September 2, $50 September 2nd – October 22nd and $60 for those registering on race day.  Race day registration will be from 5:30 -6:30 AM.
There will be a packet/goody bag pick-up day on Friday, October 22nd at TTU Memorial Gym – 3 PM – 9 PM. Packets and t-shirt must be picked up during scheduled pick-up day and time.  Unclaimed packets or shirts will not be mailed.

The race organization provides water and Gatorade stations at appropriate locations as well as porta potty locations on the race course.  The course is a certified half marathon distance.

All net proceeds of the race will benefit the various Patient Assistance Programs of the Cookeville Regional Medical Center Foundation.
