HEFT INDUSTRIES, Inc. is proud to announce that they have chosen Livingston, TN as the site of their corporate headquarters. HEFT is currently negotiating the purchase of the Berkline #5 Building in the Livingston Industrial Park.

HEFT is a "new technology" electric power plant company and plans to build a diverse line of products. Livingston will be the company headquarters and will focus on commercial and household power production units.

HEFT expects to provide approximately 100-150 jobs within the first several months, growing to approximately 1,000-1,500 jobs within the first year of operation. In addition, HEFT is looking to open several additional facilities in the Upper Cumberland region, including Pickett County, Fentress County and the Cookeville area.

HEFT INDUSTRIES is very grateful to the strong efforts of Mr. Kenneth Copeland and the Livingston-Overton County Chamber of Commerce, who were instrumental in our choice of Livingston.

Gary Cook, Chief Financial Officer for HEFT stated that "Mr. Kenneth Copeland, Mr. Greg McDonald, Mr. Gary Harris, as well as Mr. Ray Evans, all provided us with a warm welcome, great hospitality and the strong sense of values that we sought in choosing a location for our company.  We're very excited to be coming, and we look forward to a long and prosperous relationship with Overton County and the Upper Cumberland region."

HEFT hopes to begin operations in Overton County and the Upper Cumberland area no later than September 1, 2010.
