July 7th, 2008,Putnam County. Several Fire Engines and an ambulance were dispatched to Cummins Filtration plant in Cookeville at around midnight.

Sources said there was a fire in one of the stacks and it is not known at this time what caused the fire. However, no injuries were reported and the fire was quickly contained. 

Cummins Filtration formally known as Fleetguard has won several awards over the years for an outstanding safety record.
