Jason Wayne Hunt

JASON WAYNE HUNT was arrested after being observed as passed out in his vehicle near Creative Learning Day Care. The arresting Officer noticed that Mr. Hunt's speech was slurred and he was unsteady on his feet. The report further indicated that Mr. Hunt stated he was at the Day Care center to pick up his 21 month old child and drive her home. After failing to perform several field sobriety tasks and finding Sched IV and Sched II drugs in his possession. Mr. Hunt was charged with the following:  DUI, SIMPLE POSSESSION (2 counts)  POSSESSION  CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 2 (counts), POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA.

A Cookeville business reported that someone stole more than Forty Upper Cumberland Now Paper Boxes with a total value of $10,250 after an apparent business dispute. Names were withheld.

Names withheld in a Burglary of a Residence on W. Stevens Street.

Names withheld in the Theft of Property from a building on Hillsdale Drive. Reports said a minor given temporary residence by a Cookevillian was suspected in the reported missing Playstation 3 and Grand Theft Auto Game valued at over $475.

No Suspects in a missing 2000 LB Wince believed to be stolen from Tractor Supply on S. Jefferson Ave.

No Suspects in a Burglary of a Vehicle on N. Dixie Ave. The victim reported that a 5 String Banjo w/ Planet Waves multicolored strap in a Black Leather Case was stolen from an unlocked car.
