No suspects in a Theft of Property at JC Penny's on Dubois road. A customer reported her purse missing while shopping. Items taken were the purse, Xanax Tablets, Hydrocodone Tablets and Wallet with social security card, DL and State of Tn ID Card.  

LLoyd R Durham was arrested for 2 counts of Driving under the Influence on S. Jefferson ave. at Pigeon Roost Creed Road. The report stated that Mr. Durham had run across the road taking out about 12 feet of a guardrail before striking a tree on the side of the embankment. When the attending Office asked him if he was hurt Mr. Durham replied no and "I'm Drunk". It was also observed that he had very slurred speech and glazed over eyes as well as an intoxicating beverage on his person and breath.

Suspects names withheld in an Aggravated Assault with a weapon incident on @. 8th street. The victim told the attending Officer that he heard a knock on the front door and a voice said, "Police, we have a warrant, open up". The victim then opened the door slightly and the subject on the other side pushed it open, came in and punched the vitim in the face with a pair of brass knuckles. While the victim was on the floor he was kicked in the ribs and back and hit in the head with a bottle. The victim stated that he heard someone say that this was for his ex-girlfriend. The victim was taken to ER.

Suspects names withheld in a Burglary of a Vehicle at Cookeville Dodge on Interstate Drive. Someone took a Welder, bag of assorted tools and a driver's side window, all valued at $2200.

No suspects in a Burglary of a Residence on S. Cedar Ave. Items taken were a Window A/C unit, a television and a surround system, all valued at $1250
