Cookeville Regional Receives Medal Of Honor

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has presented Medals of Honor to seven Tennessee hospitals, including

Cookeville

Regional

Medical

Center

, for being among the hospitals across the nation with the highest organ donation rates.   

 

Recognized at the 4th National Learning Congress on Organ Donation and Transplantation in

Nashville

presented by HHS and the Organ Donation and Transplantation Alliance, Cookeville Regional was awarded the medal for achieving a donation rate of 75 percent or more from among eligible donors and sustaining that rate for at least a year.

 

This is the second year that Cookeville Regional has received the prestigious award.
