(In the picture) Adam Hale Rutland was arrested for Shoplifting at Walmart on s. Jefferson Avenue. According to the police report, Mr. Rutland was resisting Walmart security while being detained for shoplifting when the Cookeville Police arrived to investigate. Rutland has a history of filling a shopping cart and trying to escape with the unpaid items through the lawn and garden department. Rutland was trying to leave with more that $1000 worth of items. Rutland admitted that he would take the items to Davidson County and sell them for about half value.

(In the picture) James Ross Usrey was arrested for Drugs - Manufacture and Possession at 12th Street and N. Dixie Avenue. Mr. Usrey was a passenger in a vehicle that was stop for no seatbelts. After given permission to search, the investigating Officer found drugs and $162 in cash on Mr. Usrey. Usrey was arrested and transported to the Putnam County Jail.

(In the picture) Kacey James McConnell and Amie Marie Havener were outside Jim's Inn when the Cookeville Police was passing E. Spring Street and noticed three individuals fall to the ground next to the road. According to the police report, there was screaming and cursing. The Officer pulled Ms. Havener off of Mr. McConnell after which Mr. McConnell grabbed Ms. Havener by the throat. The couple was subdued and transported to Putnam County Jail and charged with Public Intoxication.

The victim's boyfriend was staying at her residence on Boatman Street for the evening while the victim was at work. Later another person whom had also stayed with the victim for a while was trying to break into the resident. After being chased away once, he came back again and was caught in the yard where he had assaulted the victim's boyfriend. The burglar was charged with Assault and names are being withheld. 

Stephen Michael Solomon was cited for Drugs - Simple Possession, Marijuana on s. Jefferson Avenue at Waffle House. Police were called to the Waffle House on possible intoxicated subjects attempting to leave.

 Tracey Lynn Haston was cited for Drugs - Paraphernalia on S. Willow Avenue at Hardee's when Cookeville Police were called on suspected drug activity.

Teresa Kay Bowers was cited for Shoplifting at CVS on S. Willow Ave.

Anthony Carl Martin was cited for Drugs Schedule 2 and Schedule 4 on N. Chestnut Avenue. Cookeville Police responded to a call that an intoxicated person was at N. Chestnut Avenue.

Jennifer Sue Ward was cited for Shoplifting at JC Penny's on Dubois Road. Ward was trying to take Women's items from the store without paying for them.
