(In The Picture ) Lee Allen Watts was cited for Drug Paraphernalia when Cookeville Police Officers were called in reference to three suspicious vehicles in the parking lot of the BP Gas Station at South Willow and Foreman Drive. Jason James Wheeler (not shown) was arrested on an outstanding warrant for probation violation in Jackson County and transported to the Jackson County Line where he was delivered to authorities. (In the picture) While investigating a shoplifting incident at Walmart on S. Jefferson Avenue, Cookeville Police found Ms. Sonia Boyington had 3 outstanding warrants from Putnam County. 2 for violation of probation and 1 capias. She was handcuffed and taken to the Putnam County Jail. (In the picture) Carrie Ann Maynard and Sierra Brazle were arrested after Cookeville Police were dispatched to Cosmos on Shipley Road in reference to four subjects that would not pay for their meals. Tim Gardner, Jason Mathis, Sierra Brazle and Carrie Maynard. Maynard and Brazle were found to have outstanding warrants and were transported to Putnam County Jail. Gardner and Mathis were cited to General sessions Court for theft of services. No suspects in a vandalism and burglary of a business at Go Mart on N. Willow Avenue. Burglars ran into the woods after Police arrived. They were chased with K-9 assistance but the subjects got away. Damage and theft estimated to be around $350. No suspects in a theft of property at CRMC on W. 5th Street. Computer equipment was taken valued at around $ 1600. No suspects in a theft of property on Tanglewood Drive. Cookeville Police were dispatched to investigate a shed being broken into and items stolen from it. Taken were an outboard boat motor, leaf blowers and chainsaw. All were valued at around $ 2700. Thieves went into a garage of a residence on Sycamore Street and stole a refrigerator and gas range. Both were valued at around $ 275. Thieves broke into a residence on Messenger Road while the occupant was attending a funeral and stole a 42 inch TV, a 52 Inch TV along with cash and other items. The valued of the items taken were estimated to be around $ 4,300.00. |
