Jason Larry Russo age 32, a homeless man whose address is listed in Sparta, TN was arrested on N. Dixie when Cookeville Police responded in reference to a drug investigation.

When Officers arrived they were greeted at the front door with the occupant holding a Pit Bull.

Officers instructed the occupants to secure the Pit Bull in the bathroom and began to search the residence.

Along with Russo there were fives others and Jackie Allen Randolph. The occupants explained to the Officers that they were on probation.

According to the report, Cookeville Police found items associated with the manufacture of Methamphetamine in the resident and in the vehicle outside.

Mr. Russo told Officers that the Meth Lab was his and that he had a drug problem.

The on call Meth Officer was called in the process the scene where Jackie Allen Randolph was served a warrant and Russo was transported to jail and charged with the Meth Free Tennessee Drug Act..

The Meth Officer notified Cookeville Police that this was a clandestine lab and the owner of a car that Russo had access to should be notified that the vehicle was quarantined.
