Funeral Services for Ethan Adam Polston, age 17, will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Cookeville Funeral Home with burial in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 8:00 am until time of services.

Ethan died early Sunday after sustaining injuries in an auto accident in the Baxter area, where he was a passenger in the vehicle.

He was born February 29, 1992, in Putnam County to Scotty Wayne Polston, a police officer in Algood and Tammy Johnson Polston.

Ethan attended the Cookeville First Assembly church with his family and his numerous friends say he loved the outdoors and was interested in listening to music, helping people and working with his hands.  He loved carpentry and spent many hours constructing houses through the building trades class at Upperman High School.

A benefit fund has been established to help defray the cost of funeral expenses.  Anyone wishing to help may contact Cpl Mark Steel of the Algood Police Department at 931-537-6830 or make donations to the account of Scott Poston at either Jackson Bank & Trust or 1st National Bank.
