Sales and Marketing Associate (Full or Part Time Positon)
Salary: Tiered salary into commission based opportunity, commensurate with experience.
Qualified professional will have at least three years sales and marketing experience, and demonstrate the following competencies:
- Ability to facilitate the sales process, understanding the needs and objectives of clients and translating those into productive advertising solutions.
- Ability to create a "brand" presence on-line and in the community for CookevileTimes.com and UCDailyNewscom
- Administrative capability -- able to organize and manage detail associated with account management.
- Diplomacy, tact and the ability to work productively with diverse groups of people.
- Ability to learn and leverage technology, including web-based software applications, basic business software applications and social networking technologies.
- Strategic and analytical skills -- able to help craft and build a vision and core strategies for achieving that vision.
- Self-directed, ability to work independently and create work structure in order to achieve objectives and goals.
- Innovation and creativity -- ability to help conceptualize advertising and market campaigns for client use.
