Calling it a "historic moment,'  President Obama made an impassioned plea to the House Saturday afternoon as the decision on Health Care reform nears.

Upper Cumberland residents have been very involved in the debate, petitioning Representatives both  for and against the Health Care bill.

The Facebook consensus in the area seems to favor the "kill the bill" sentiment.  Those wishing to do so can

write your congressman at congress. org if you'd like your voice to be heard before the House takes the vote Sunday.

House administrators have reported that an excess of 40,000 hourly calls have been received since Tuesday of  this week, creating difficulties for the Capital switchboard.

CNN continues to publish where  candidates stand.   Details are available through the CNN link.

38 Total Democratics "No" voites needed to kill the bill -- 38.  Total Democratic "No" votes currently in the tally -- 31.
