The new Prescott South Middle School is between 56% and 60% completed according to Aaron Miller.

It consists of five buildings which are currently called “Building A,” “Building B,” “Building C,” “Building D,” and “Building E.”

Buildings “A” and “E” which are the outer buildings are the gyms with “A” being the elementary gym and “E” being the middle school gym.

Both of the gyms are “dried in,” and have the brick facing on them.

Building “D”, the middle school, is now dried in.

Building “C,” the shared center between the two schools, has the walls built 2/3 of the way up.

And building “B,” the elementary school has the walls up and is partially dried in.

The West End Cemetery road access is on schedule and the next step will be putting in permanent water and power from that spot.

According to Mr. Miller, he said the finish date is still targeted to be August 26, but he said he is getting some word from the construction teams that they might need a two week extension due to all the rain.
