Cookeville West Side Saturday Stylin’—Poppin with a Cruise-In

With Saturday;s weather venting pure, Tennessee blue sky, it's only natural that one of the cruisin’ clubs blocked off the road in between the Cookeville Depot and Cream City ice cream side, and old, restored cars rainbowed up the entire street, both with brilliant colors and the deep throb of sound as the cars came in and and out of their small, makeshift arena.

Someone brought a boom box and 60’s A.M. pop radio sounds completed the piece of art set in the frame of the colorful old west side buildings and the Cookeville Depot on the tracks.

Technically speaking, the afternoon provided a gloriously, roaring exploration into colorful machines from days gone by, and the people who love them.
