County Executive Announces Agendas for Committee Meetings
FISCAL REVIEW COMMITTEE Listed below are items to be considered by the County's Fiscal Review Committee on Monday, September 13, at 5:00 PM in the County Commission Chambers at the Courthouse.
1. Elect Officers: Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Secretary.
2. Elect 1 member to serve on the Nominating Committee.
3. Elect 2 members to serve on the Intergovernmental Committee. This is 2 year terms to expire September 2012.
4. Consider budget amendments to the General Purpose School Fund.
5. Consider budget amendments to the County General Fund.
6. Consider budget amendments to the Road Department Fund.
7. Consider a Resolution to Establish a Program to Supplement the Property Tax Relief Program of the State of Tennessee Provided for in Title 67, Chapter 5, Part 7 of the Tennessee Code Annotated.
8. Consider a Resolution Rounding Property Tax Amounts to the Nearest dollar.
9. Consider approval for Fire Chief Daryl Blair to apply for a Homeland Security Firefighter Grant which will provide funds for 5 full time firefighters for 2 years in an amount of $171,000 per year. If grant is awarded and accepted, the county would have to fund these positions for the 3rd year.
10. Any other business that needs to be considered by the Fiscal Review Committee.

PLANNING COMMITTEE Listed below are items to be considered by the County's Planning Committee on Monday, September 13, 2010, at 6:00 PM in the County Commission Chambers at the Courthouse. 1. Elect Officers: Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Secretary.
2. Elect 1 member to serve on the Nominating Committee.
3. Elect 2 members to serve on the Intergovernmental Committee. These are 2 year terms to expire September 2012.
4. Elect 4 members to serve on the Road Committee. Section Cll of the "Rules Book". This is a 1 year term.
5. Discuss appointments for the Land & Facilities Committee. There are 7 current members.
6. Consider agreement between the City of Cookeville and PutnamCounty regarding the Poplar Grove Bridge Project.
7. Discuss plans for location for a community garden.
8. Any other business that needs to be reviewed by the Planning Committee.
NOMINATING COMMITTEE Listed below are are items to be considered by the County's Nominating Committee on Monday, September 13, 2010 immediately after the Planning Committee meeting in the County Commission Chambers.
1. Elect Officers: Chairman, Vice-Chairman & Secretary.
2. Consider nominations for Commission Chairman, Chairman Protempore and Parliamentarian. J year terms
3. Consider 2 replacements to fill unexpired terms on the Solid Waste Recycling Committee terms to expire September 2012
4.Consider 1 replacement to fill an unexpired term on the Judicial Commissioner interview Committee. term to expire July 2011
5. Consider 1 replacement to fill an unexpired term on the Awards Committee. term to expire February 2011
6. Consider 2 replacements to the Ethics Committee.

7. Consider Scott Chadwell's request (Agricultural Extension) to appoint Daryl Blair and Steve Pierce to fill 2 unexpired terms on the Agricultural Extension Committee.

12. Consider 3 appointments to the Joint Economic and Development Board. 4 year terms to expire September 2014
13. Consider 1 replacement to the Beer Board to fill an unexpired term.
term to expire October 2011 Traditionally, the members of the Beer Board also sit on the Adult Oriented Entertainment Board so there would be 1 replacement on this board also. this term expires December 2012
14. Consider 2 replacements to the Delinquent Property Tax Committee to fill unexpired terms.
