Internist Marilyn Vermeesch, MD Joins Cookeville Regional

Marilyn Vermeesch, MD has rejoined the staff at Cookeville Regional Medical Center and will be joining the Physician Associates of Cookeville Regional with other primary care physicians and specialists at the 128 North Whitney location in Cookeville.


Dr. Vermeesch is Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. In her practice, she will be accepting patients of any age - from infants to older adults. She received her medical degree in 1993 from the Wayne State University School of Medicine. She did her internships and residencies in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center and Phoenix Children’s Hospital.


Dr. Vermeesch is no stranger to the Upper Cumberland. She has spent the past two years seeing patients in Celina. Prior to that, she came to Cookeville Regional in 2002 as a physician in the first Hospitalist group at the hospital and went on to become the director of the Hospitalist Program.


Dr. Vermeesch is pleased to be back in Cookeville and looks forward to serving the medical needs of our community. She is accepting new patients. To make an appointment please contact her office at 931-783-5848.
