Meet and Greet for Matt Swallows, Contender for City Council (Photo Gallery)

Tuesday evening, several attended a meet and greet Cookeville City Councilperson contender, Matt Swallows.

Since four of the five of the City Council members will be replaced, this upcoming election is a real flip-flop election with the winners being chosen strictly by the number of votes. (In other words, everyone is running against everyone with the four highest vote getters winning.)
 
Picking and choosing  from Matt’s website, he graduated from Livingston with accolades, was a wide end receiver for Tennessee Tech University, was number 2 for sales in the state with Aetna, is currently VP for Swallows Insurance Agency (with four locations in the Upper Cumberland),  and has been on the Cookeville City Planning Commission since 2009.
