Prescott School's Watermelon In July

Tools

Monday night, Prescott Middle School in Cookeville hosted a planned Watermelon social for students and their families.  The event gave parents, students and teachers a chance to meet each other and make plans for the coming year.

The new Prescott South students will begin their year at the old Prescott school, and  it looks as though all involved will need to be extremely flexible as the new school is finished and moves are facilitated.   In the interim, the K-8 students will be placed into temporary classrooms in the older school building.  This arrangement will require most, if not all, teachers to make use of a new classroom and "move" twice during the year.

But students, teachers and parents all seemed to be looking forward to the new year and new facilities, despite the difficulties they will face in transition later in the year.
