Murfreesburo "Tea Party" Focused on Health Care

Tools

By Diane Roland

Area citizens peacefully protested today in front of State Representative Bart Gordon's headquarters in Murfreesboro, Tenn. Their message was clear: Vote no on the national health care bill.

Tea Party Leader Ben Cunningham rallied the large crowd to send a message to Washington saying, " They live in a bubble and have quit listening to the people. They have listened instead to the press and made decisions as if they know what's best for our country." Congress will vote on the health care bill on March 18.
