Some more school shootings took place in the past few days.
I'll bet none of the shooters were handgun carry "permitees." It's the deranged people out there who melt down.
Amy Bishop was a professor in the Biology Department at the University of Alabama at Huntsville.
She allegedly was denied tenure and pulled a handgun and opened fire.
Back some 20 years ago she allegedly "accidentally" shot her 18-year old brother up in Braintree, MA.
She fired three blasts from a shotgun into his abdomen. It was ruled an "accident." Three shots--an accident?
Massachusetts Congressman Bill Delahunt was the prosecutor who declined to charge Bishop in the death of her brother in 1986,
She's an alleged avowed Harvard-educated socialist. She and her husband were suspected of sending a pipe bomb to a Harvard professor, whom she didn't like, a few years ago.
The professor allegedly gave her a bad recommendation. She should be removed from society. Here are some items about Bishop that the media never mentioned: She's a liberal leftwinger, and libs can kill people too. It's not just media-accused "rightwing nuts."
The lib mindset is if it feels good, do it. And she is a radical leftwinger, obsessed with Obama. Shee's proof positive that the left truly harbors the "nut jobs."
Mark S. Foster, known for his alleged out-of-control temper, gunned down the Principal and Assistant Principal (his bosses) at Knoxville's Inskip Elementary School last week. He was described as a ticking time bomb who was told that he would not be retained as a teacher.
So he opened fire.
The principal was concerned about him.
A student gunned down another at a middle school in Madison, Alabama. It's unclear what the motive was. Severe punishment is warranted in all cases.
He should be tried as an adult.
The CATS bus system is subsidized by tax revenues. Private enterprise already tried a bus route in Cookeville some 60 years ago.
There were few riders--it went under. When the public subsidies stop, it too will go belly up. Such subsidies shouldn't come from fuel taxes.
The real estate transfer tax should continue to be funneled to the General Fund. It's a matter of needs versus wants.
Conservation of land in a depressed economy is a want; fundng the State Mental Health Fund is a need.
Nuclear power plants are going to be built. Obama will advocate for Federal loans. Nuclear production is the way to go in the future.
Nuclear-produced electricity will lead to energy security via less dependency on fossil fuels. Senator Alexander is on the cutting edge.
Wind and solar will never produce enough electricity.
