Bill Gibson Being Treated Unfairly

Tools

Dear Editor:

Our Attorney General Bill Gibson is being unfairly treated by three career politicians who feel that getting their names in front of the voting public is so important to them that they don’t mind stepping on a sincere, hardworking honest man to do it.

LETS SEE WHO’S DOING THE TALKING

Representative Frank Buck of Dowelltown has kept his seat for years by doing just this. He has maintained his self-righteous attitude better than most preachers. He is always first to show this self-righteousness at other people’s expense.

Representative Henry Fincher is a political newbie. It seems that Mr. Fincher desperately wants to be part of the “GOOD OL BOYS” in our government. If Mr. Fincher really cared about making his job productive, he would spend his time (as he says) helping needy people get their healthcare.

Representative Charles Curtis of Sparta is speaking out of turn when he joins this movement. Everyone I’ve talked to in White County has indicated that they are FOR Mr. Gibson to take back the reins of his office. Mr. Curtis was the representative that RAISED our state sales tax! Remember that?

In truth, these men are just career politicians seeking to extend their terms in office. Did a majority of their constituents ask them to chase after Mr. Gibson? They did this on their own behalf for the publicity it would bring them. These gentlemen have some explaining to do.

The financial question has been answered. Very little extra money is being spent on Tony Craighead’s salary. The best thing the three lawmakers can do with their proposed resolution is NOT TO PRESENT IT since it has not been mandated by the people. DA Bill Gibson was elected to his office by a mandate of the people. It seems fit that he only be removed by that same mandate.

UNIQUELY QUALIFIED

Let’s take a good look at Mr. Gibson:
Mr. Gibson did his job as a District Attorney first. Then his Christianity stepped in through his “Forgiveness, spiritual advice & legal advice”. He practiced his profession, and then he practiced his Christianity. This makes him uniquely qualified to be an exceptional District Attorney.

Bill Gibson has NOT been convicted of any crimes. Yet he is still being persecuted. Why? Because Bill Gibson is not one of the “Good Ole Boys”. Bill Gibson is just like………..us.
