Global Warming Effects and Drilling for Gas

Tools

By Steve Moore

The people who advocate for global warming are still loudly advocating their stances, even as cold frigid air has invaded the United States save the southwest.

It's even in the high teens in the northern part of Florida. It is in the low 30's in central Florida and it appears there are no signs of moderation. It's been in the 50's with a brisk wind on Miami Beach, the Orange Bowl in Miami was played in the upper 40's.

Here in Putnam County, the TDOT has unveiled new snow plows that will clear an entire interstate lane in one pass. They have salt, brine, and beet juice to spread or spray on the highway.

The beet juice combines with the salt particles to help keep them form bouncing of the pavement. Since beets are red and their juice is , I guess red, will our vehicles be a shade of red until we wash them?

The only knowledge of beets are the pickled kind that are packaged in red juice. In Missouri, a farmer noticed that his holding pond containing beet juice runoff didn't freeze over. Hence the birth of mixture beet juice...who would of thought it !

Here we go again, TVA wants to replace coal burning that produces coal ash that has to be stored ( where have we heard this before ) with gas, now the environmentalists don't want drilling for that gas.

Don't they think that TVA will do everything the groundwater by casing the drilling tubes? These people think that TVA deliberately cause accidents. We have to have electricity more each year .

You would think they would embrace gas, but no they have a cause to push, an axe to grind- always they will fight the drilling tooth and nail in Federal court and the price of power will go us in order for TVA to defend themselves.

The whole problem is a fear of the unknown. Get off TVA's back or start burning kerosene lanterns and candles for light.
