COOKEVILLE — Bible class teachers looking for new material may find just what they need at Tennessee Bible College.

A number of booklets written by college dean Dr. Kerry Duke are available, addressing a variety of controversial religious topics. They include the following:

• “Premillennialism in Light of the Scriptures” ($7)
• “The Meaning of ‘Commit Adultery’ in Divorce and Remarriage Texts” ($4)
• “Worship: Traditional, Contemporary or Biblical?” ($10)
• “The Remarriage of a Divorced Couple” ($4)
• “The Day America Declared War” (Roe v. Wade: The 1973 U.S. Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion) ($2)

All funds from booklet sales go to the college to help train Bible preachers and Christian workers.

“I hope these books will help anybody wanting to know more and understand better some of these issues,” Duke said. “They can be used in Bible classes, Vacation Bible school or maybe for a quarter of study.”

TBC President Malcolm Hill said, “Brother Duke did an excellent job on these booklets. They are great study guides for people to use along with their Bibles.”

In addition to these booklets, Duke has authored and edited several books, including “God at a Distance” ($12), “Debate Charts on Roman Catholicism” ($10), “Ox in the Ditch” ($9) and “My Sister’s Keeper” ($11).

Also available at Tennessee Bible College are “Questions and Answers” ($22.50), “My God and My Neighbor” ($6) and “True-False Questions on Worship” ($2.50), all by TBC President Malcolm Hill; “Jesus is Lord” ($13), edited by TBC Vice President Glenn B. Ramsey; and “The Holy Spirit: Center of Controversy—Basis of Unity” by Mac Deaver of Denton, Texas (a regular speaker in TBC lectureships).

Cookbooks compiled by the Ladies Associates of Tennessee Bible College are also available as a college fundraiser: “The Big Blue Book of Cooking” ($10) and “Second Helpings” ($10).

TBC offers a bachelor’s degree in religious education, master’s and doctorate degrees in theology and a two-year preaching diploma. For information on book orders, call (931)526-2616, visit www.tn-biblecollege.edu or visit the campus at 1616 McCulley Road, Cookeville.
