With this win we sealed the second place spot in our district and a trip to the region duals. 

We came out excited and really aggressive, possibly the hardest we’ve wrestled yet this season all the way through our line up, everyone was fighting for every single point. This was a good team we wrestled tonight and have such a strong effort against them shows we are heading in the right direction. We can enjoy the win tonight, but tomorrow we have to turn up the level of effort, we have not won that region title yet and that’s what we are after.

The guys are buying into all of our hard work and believe in what we are doing, and as long as they keep working like this, who knows what we are capable of doing!!

Notes: This finishes our regular season competition. We finished the regular season at 20-5 (4-1 district, 9-1 region)

Siegel is 17-7 after tonight. We will wrestle the winner between Tullahoma and Blackman (they wrestle tomorrow night) first round in the region duals.
