Thirty-five Freshmen Academy students will host CookevilleTimes and others on Wednesday as part of a Professionals Day facilitated by the school.

In Wednesday's class, the students will be asked to assist Lisa Norris of Philips Lighting in providing CookevilleTimes with feedback about strategies for creating stronger schools in our region.

The students will be asked to identify some of the strengths of the Putnam County school system and some things that they believe would enhance the learning experience and improve outcomes.

While providing this feedback, the students will be learning about work opportunities and professions through their questions and interaction.

Following the Professionals Day experience, CookevilleTimes will feature these students in an article around the school system, incorporating their comments alongside those of County Commissioners and the School Board.
