Jessica Snyder named Tennessee Tech Ambassador of the Month for July

Jessica Snyder's work as a custodian in the Child Development Lab (CDL) meets or exceeds all of the rules and regulations given to childcare facilities by the state.

"The Child Development Lab is one of the most tedious departments to clean due to the rules and regulations we must adhere to under Department of Human Services guidelines," said Angie Smith, director of the CDL. "Ms. Snyder makes an extra effort to understand and follow our necessary guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting our classrooms. Jessica makes an effort each day to talk to our parents and children and is very respectful of each family's diversified needs. She has volunteered outside of her scheduled work hours to be actively involved with the CDL. For example, she has sewn new door and window curtains for our hallway."

Snyder has been with the university since August 2005.

Ambassador nomination forms are available from TTU’s Human Resource Services or by visiting www.tntech.edu/hr.
