Airhart Recognized as TN State Superintendent of the Year at County Commission Awards

Last night bad day Putnam County commission awards ceremony Dr. Kathleen Airhart was recognized for her recent honor by the state of Tennessee Department of Education as being named Tennessee's superintendent of the year. Putnam County Clerk Wayne Nabors described Airhart as, "she has a compassionate and kind heart as big as this building."

Nabors concluded, "...So, on behalf of the awards committee and the Putnam County Board of commissioners, Kathleen Airhart, we say thank you. And in recognition of your selection as the Tennessee school Superintendent of the year, thank you so very much."
