Charles was nominated by his math teacher, Kathy Howard, for the National Adult Education Honor Society.

His teacher says that Charles arrives early and is excited to come to classes. He has had almost perfect attendance during his entire enrollment with our program. He is always willing to try new ideas. He works well with teachers and classmates. He practices good manners and is an encouragement to everyone.

Charles always works on his homework and never complains even though he has a visual disability. His self-confidence has improved, and he has recently passed a portion of the GED.
