Cookeville High's Linemen recently traveled to Bowling Green, Kentucky to compete in the Tennessee/Kentucky Hog Brawl at Greenwood High School.

The Cavaliers won the nine-team event, which featured several competitions including a 100-meter truck push, farmer's walk relay with 80-pound dumb bells, team tug-of-war, NFL shuttle, obstacle course, 185-pound bench press rep test and 5x200-meter relay.

CHS assistant coach Scott Cook said of the event, "We just had a really good day. They competed hard and gutted it out. It was hot, but they wanted to win, especially when they realized it was right in front of them. It was a very good day and I'm proud of them."
